Fan Guide: Checking out the Charlotte Checkers

CHARLOTTE — Grab your team jersey and cowbell: The Charlotte Checkers are back on the ice at Bojangles Coliseum.

This season, fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the defending Atlantic Division champions on weekend dates. Of the 36 home games, 23 land on a Friday or Saturday, plus another four take place on Sunday.

New this season — four of the Saturday home dates will feature a 4 p.m. puck drop.

Individual game tickets are on sale here through Ticketmaster. Ticket prices start at $23.

Several popular promotions have returned this season, including Winning Wednesday, featuring $1 beer and a free ticket to the next Wednesday game if the Checkers win and Family Nights, offering discounts of 40% on groups of four tickets or more.

Some new additions for this year include Hockey $1.01 on Jan. 10 featuring $1.01 tickets. Click here to see the full promotional schedule.

April 1 at 6 p.m. vs. Springfield (Chubby’s Birthday, Family Day, Fan Appreciation)
