Panthers’ Terrace Marshall Jr. embraces rise within offense

CHARLOTTE — There have been a lot of ups and downs for the Carolina Panthers this season. A number of players have moved on after the exit of head coach Matt Rhule.

One player has taken on a bigger role on the Panthers offense: wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr.

The second-year player is embracing being one of the top targets in recent weeks.

“I just felt good to be back out there, competing with my brothers. Just being able to be productive for this team, grinding to get back obviously,” Marshall Jr. said. “This position that I’m in I’m just grateful.”

Marshall Jr. has 244 yards and one touchdown on 14 receptions so far this season.
