FORT MILL, S.C. — State police are investigating an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday in York County.
The shooting happened around noon on the second floor of the Sycamore Apartments off Springfield Parkway in Fort Mill while officers were trying to serve a warrant, authorities said.
Channel 9 doesn’t know what specific charges the person is facing, but we were told it was an Internet Crimes Against Children warrant.
No officers were physically injured, the York County sheriff said.
The search warrant involved multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit officers.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is leading the investigation. The condition of the person has not been released.
No additional details have been made available.
