CHARLOTTE — A person was seriously injured in a shooting in west Charlotte early Friday morning, according to MEDIC.
Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it happened around 3:45 this morning on West Kingston Avenue, not far from Mint Street.
Channel 9 crews saw several police officers searching the neighborhood when they got there.
We’re asking CMPD what led to the violence and if anyone is in custody.
