MATTHEWS, N.C. — Dozens of cars lined up at Krispy Crème restaurants Tuesday so the restaurant could give away the “Graduate Dozen” to the Class of 2020.

High school seniors had to don their cap and gowns to get the free doughnuts.
In the video at the top of this webpage, we spoke with some upperclassmen at the location on E. Independence Boulevard in Matthews who waited up to two hours for the glazed treats.
