Families living at Lancaster hotel forced out of their rooms due to closure

LANCASTER, S.C. — Tenants said Carriage Inn management in Lancaster told them Tuesday that they have 24 hours to move.

Some residents that live at the motel on North Main Street said they already paid through next week.

County records show Springland Incorporated owns the hotel.

Court document dated Feb. 10 asked the tenant, another company called Indus Hospitality LLC, to vacate the property, saying they failed to pay rent in the amount of $10,284 and failed to pay property taxes.
