CHARLOTTE — Homicide detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were called to two deadly shooting investigations early Saturday morning in north Charlotte.
Shortly after midnight officers were called to the 9300 block of Broken Pine Lane. The victim who was shot was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another assault with a deadly weapon call was reported a couple hours later at about 2 a.m. at the intersection of North Graham Street and Craighead Road.
Officers found the victim with a gunshot wound in a vehicle and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released information on suspects or victims.
Both investigations are ongoing.
No additional details have been made available.
