UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Officials in Union County say a firefighter was hurt while battling a house fire overnight.
The home sits on Mourning Dove Drive, in a neighborhood north of Weddington Road.
Firefighters from Wesley Chapel, Waxhaw, Stallings, Indian Land and the Bakers area all responded.
The county says the fire started after rags used for staining spontaneously caught fire.
It did about $750,000 in damage.
