CHARLOTTE — Catalina Kitchen + Bar — a new restaurant concept by NFL legend Mike Ditka’s restaurant group — has snagged a spot on Yelp’s coveted list of Best New Restaurants in 2024.
Catalina snagged the No. 25 spot on the list — the only restaurant in Charlotte and the Carolinas to make the cut. Yelp recognized restaurants from 14 states and the District of Columbia. It analyzed business rating and review volume for restaurants opened in the last 18 months to compile the top 25 list.
Catalina also was included on the Charlotte Business Journal’s list of top upscale restaurants, rated by Yelp.
The restaurant opened in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood in September 2023.
