Silver Alert cancelled for 79-year-old Union County man

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been canceled after a 79-year-old man was reported missing in Union County Wednesday night.

Joseph Vincent Hicks was reported missing from the 6000 block of Lawyers Road East in Marshville.

However, on Thursday, the N.C. Center for Missing Persons announced that the alert had been canceled.
