Troopers break up street takeover in Iredell County; 6 charged (N.C. STATE HIGHWAY PATROL)

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — State troopers in Iredell County investigating a street takeover charged six people, including a kid, and seized six trucks.

Troopers were called to Barfield Road north of Mooresville after reports of careless and reckless driving. They got there and found that the road was blocked off due to an illegal street takeover.

The five adults were charged with careless and reckless driving, street takeover, and injury to real property.

Their names are:

  • Eli Chance Pharr, 18, of Stony Point
  • Gage Myquea Angel Jr., 20, of Cleveland
  • Isaiah Antonio Villegas, 27, of Statesville
  • Nicholas James Lufkin, 20, of Mooresville
  • Nathaniel Madison Harris, 27, of Statesville

The trucks were turned over to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
