Union County Sheriff's Office

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A tennis coach has been charged in connection with an extensive sexual assault investigation, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation was launched last month after a victim came forward about inappropriate sexual conduct by 47-year-old Timi Kano Solomon.

Solomon was serving as the victim’s private tennis coach at the time of the incident.

He was eventually charged with multiple offenses, including statutory sexual offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child, according to deputies.

Deputies said Solomon was held at the Union County Detention Center before posting bond.

However, the investigation into this incident is active and ongoing.
