GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men involved in a violent home invasion on Little Avenue last Thursday night.
Two armed masked men kicked in the door and held the victims at gunpoint.
The assailants forced the victims into their bedrooms and bathroom, and assaulted them. The suspects stole personal items, including jewelry, cell phones, and wallets.
“I can’t believe this,” said neighbor Joseph Jones after watching the doorbell camera video. “(It) happened down the hill from me.”
One of the suspects is noted to have tattoos down both arms, which may aid in their identification.
“I think it’s crazy because we don’t have none of that up in here,” Jones said.
Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact Gastonia Police at 704-866-6702 or Crime Stoppers at 704-861-8000. Callers can remain anonymous.
Jones said he’s worried about his neighbors.
“We got an old lady that lives over there that’s disabled. I’m disabled. She’s disabled,” Jones said.
The police hope that public assistance will lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects involved in this violent crime.
