FORECAST:
- Today is the pick of the weekend as we track comfortable conditions across the Carolinas and slightly lower humidity!
- It’s still hot as highs climb into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees, but there’s no big heat index factor to consider either.
- Skies are mostly sunny with a light northerly breeze.
- The weekend stays quiet with lots of sunshine on tap!
- We start warming back up though as high temps reach the mid 90s by Sunday.
- The humidity creeps back up too, making mid-90s feel closer to 100 degrees.
- The heat continues next week with mid to upper 90s headed our way and heat index values climbing above 100 degrees!
- Some isolated storm chances return midweek too.
BRIEF RELIEF 🤩 Dew points are dropping this morning behind a cold front, meaning the humidity is going to be lower today! Get outside and enjoy before the humidity goes right back up this weekend. pic.twitter.com/wD4sjR6ggp
