FORECAST: More storms moving in for Fourth of July

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The threat for thunderstorms will return Monday afternoon and continue on Tuesday when we could have a wash out for Fourth of July plans.

The top threats will be heavy rain and lightning.

The heat and humidity stick around over the next several days, but so will chances for rain with a 40 percent Monday through Wednesday.

It will stay in the low 90s through the end of the week.

Some storms could be on the stronger side.
